Recovery starts with admitting you have a problem with alcohol. You don’t have to wait until you hit rock bottom; you can make a change at any time. In the early stages of change, denial is a huge obstacle. Even after admitting you have a drinking problem, you may make excuses and drag your feet. It’s important to acknowledge that you are not sure about quitting. It has been a big part of your life and your life may revolve around it.
One of the most important aspects of recovery for a struggling addict is to have the opportunity to share their story, their life experience. There is human connection on a surprisingly deep level, even though the people in treatment may only see each other for a few days or at a meeting for a few hours. Your Alcohol Addiction stories are important. You are not alone and maybe there is someone who will benefit from you sharing your experience.
“Telling your story is medicine for the spirit and healing for the soul” It is the essence of self that brings others close and creates meaning in life. Something happens when you share your story, especially when you write it down. Writing your story allows you to connect with yourself in the deepest way; you get a chance to know who you are and what you think. It helps bring you out of any kind of denial that you might have going on.
Your story can make a real difference not only to you but to those who hear it or read it. They may be going through the same things and can be influenced in positive ways by it, least of which they will not feel so alone. When you tell your story you receive compassion and understanding from the others struggling in similar ways. It breaks the isolation that you feel and gives you strength to carry on.
Getting sober is only the beginning of alcohol recovery. Rehab or professional treatment can get you started on the road to recovery, but to stay alcohol-free for the long term, you’ll need to build a new, meaningful life where drinking no longer has a place.
Whether you choose to go to rehab, work with self-help programs or go to therapy, support is essential. Don’t try to go it alone. Recovering from alcohol addiction is much easier when you have people you can lean on for encouragement, guidance and support.

Ok so it’s January 20th. Are you still thinking about your new years resolutions or have you forgotten them already? If you haven’t started your program for the new year then make sure it’s not lost till next year.
It seems the 1st of the year we are motivated and ready to go and then as we settle back into our work routine we settle back into our old habits as well. You say you want to exercise but you tell yourself everyday that there just isn’t enough time, you have too much to do. I guess we really need to ask ourselves; is time for ourselves, our health and well being less important than a lunch date with a friend or finishing a report that isn’t due till next week? Even if you only take a half hour a day it lets your sub-conscious know that you mean what you say when you decide to start an exercise program or spend more time with your family.
Your sub-conscious mind is there to help you accomplish your goals and it does what you say you want. If you say you want to smoke and you love smoking it will help you accomplish that goal. If you say you want to exercise and lose weight it will help you do that but you need to make it primary in your mind and use daily affirmations till your sub-conscious takes over and it becomes a natural part of your daily life and not a struggle anymore. In order to make changes in your life you need to convince your sub-conscious mind that you really want to make a change.
Your present desire to quit smoking or begin an exercise program has to be stronger than the old desire to live your life with your habituated behaviors and any happiness that brought you. You will have to convince the sub-conscious mind that you really don’t enjoy smoking anymore! The subconscious mind relates best to imagery and symbols. You might visualize yourself hiking up a mountain that you haven’t been able to hike because of your old smoking habit or something else that you would love to do once you quit. See yourself as if you have already quit and say to yourself “I am a person who used to smoke, I no longer smoke, I am free now.” When you see things that you want in your life as if they have already happened it helps your subconscious believe it too. Say it with self-confidence and add some powerful affirmations that would work for you. Transformation occurs when you change your mind about who you are. Affirmations can help you do this. Say them till you believe them!
So let’s get going it’s only the 20th of January, if you think you are wavering on your new years resolution get yourself back on track!

It is great news that they brought a healthy baby to term but so many mothers who have one and maybe many miscarriages suffer such a private loss. In fact many people are afraid to tell anyone they are pregnant before the 3rd month, just in case. Our society seems to render miscarriage invisible, no one wants to talk about it. The first trimester is when a woman does the work of creating the baby. Every organ in the baby’s body is formed, and the mother can experience extreme fatigue and nausea. Women need to be supported through this vulnerable period where they were already planning and dreaming, talking to their fetus, and maybe even considering a name. After a loss it’s normal to feel shock, grief, depression, guilt, anger, and a sense of failure and vulnerability.
The days, weeks, and even months following a loss can be incredibly difficult and painful. If you are someone who has experienced a miscarriage, first know that it is not your fault, it can happen to anyone. Be open and honest with your partner, remember he is going through it too and might need your support as well. Men and women grieve differently, your husband may be holding his grief inside. There is no right or wrong way to deal with grief, you will need each other to find your own way. Allow yourself to feel the sadness, don’t try to get over it quickly. Allow yourself to experience the waves of grief as they come.
Most people want to say something comforting but don’t know what to say. Try not to take it personally if they say the wrong thing or nothing at all. Sharing your story will allow you to feel less alone and help you heal. You may be surprised who comes out and shares their story of miscarriage with you, that you never knew about. Miscarriage is such a common trauma, there is no reason to be alone with it.
Help dealing with grief and loss.

It’s that time of year to make your New Years resolutions! After overeating and overspending, Christmas is followed by the austerity measure known as New Year’s resolutions.
Most people don’t know where to begin making the change they want in their life they just know that they want to make changes for the better in their life. Hypnosis and New Year’s resolutions go hand in hand because a detailed action plan is what is needed for success in keeping your resolutions.
The American Psychological Association cites research which shows that nearly two-thirds of resolution-makers will give up on their goal at the six-month mark. Seeing a hypnotherapist to help you with your plan can be the best way to make sure you are successful with your goals, whether it be loosing weight or changing jobs. Number one it has to excite you, there’s no sense in making a new year’s resolution just for the sake of making one. If you can’t pinpoint what excites and motivates you about a daily exercise program or finally organizing your office, then you might have some more self-examination to do.
Most of us think that change is difficult. We know what we want but not knowing how to get there is always the overwhelming reason most people don’t follow through with their resolutions.
It’s important that people make their healthy resolutions simple, specific and action-oriented, to help keep them on target. Make simple changes to your nutrition plan, such as a goal to eat at least 3 salads
a week or walk every other day for 20 minutes. Make sure it is something that you will do. If you make it too difficult you will give up before you even begin.
An example would be to schedule at least two exercise appointments per week for 2 months. Schedule it on your smart phone or your calendar like you would any other appointment. Taking time for yourself is just as important as any other scheduled event whether it be with the dentist or a lunch date with a colleague. Setting it for 2 months means there’s an end-point and you can reassess after that time if this resolution is working for you of if you’d like to change your plan.
If you have clear picture of what you want to achieve, why you want it, and how to get there, keeping a resolution through to the end of the year is a lot easier. Get the support you need to make your goals happen, we all need a little help once in awhile. Good Luck and enjoy your new year!

Even though relaxation is a natural state, you might be surprised how difficult this can be for people to do. We tend to get in the habit of endless thinking, worrying, stressing and planning. In today’s hectic world people don’t seem to take the time to just sit quietly for a few moments or to just breathe. Conscious breathing can make all the difference when it comes to reducing stress and anxiety levels. Slow breathing lets the body know that it is time to relax!
Stress and anxiety are a part of our modern life but there are things you can do even in the midst of a busy work day!
First of all…………………
Breathe!!!…… Breathing is the most important thing, but not just any breathing.
Place your hands on your belly and begin to breathe from the abdomen. In and out through the belly, as you inhale let the belly balloon up and as you exhale let it sink down. Keep the breath in the belly. This is called abdominal breathing.
Ujjayi Breathing: ……Continue breathing with the belly but now add the “sounding breath” or in the ancient yogic tradition called Ujjayi breathing, making a sound in the back of the throat as if you had nostrils in the back of your throat. The “sounding breath” is created by moving the glottis(in the back of the throat) as air passes in and out. The throat passage is narrowed and the airway where the passage of air comes through creates a gentle snoring sound. The length and speed of the breath is controlled by the diaphragm. This strengthening is, partially the purpose of ujjayi as well as being tremendously relaxing and calming.
Hypnosis MP3’s or CD’s: …… Hypnosis allows you to enter a state of deep relaxation which in itself is a very useful therapy for lowering stress. It also allows you to become calm and focused, so you can concentrate on solving your problems. Hypnosis is a state in which the conscious mind is temporarily suspended or distracted and in which all parts of the mind work in harmony for your highest good. Hypnosis MP3’s or CD’s can be very useful in helping one to relax.
Try this Deep Relaxation MP3 which is free right now! It will put you into a blissful state!

You might wonder does hypnotherapy work. Could it be that easy to solve some of your long standing problems? The answer is yes. First you need to understand what hypnotherapy is. It is a totally natural state of mind. When doing hypnotherapy with a trained hypnotherapist you will feel very relaxed and peaceful. You might even wish that the session could last forever, it is so enjoyable!
Everything you have learned is stored in your subconscious. Take driving for example; you have already learned to drive so your driving skill is stored in your subconscious.
Once you back out of your driveway and maneuver out on to the highway your conscious mind is then free and begins to drift off because the knowledge for driving exists in your subconscious. You conscious mind daydreams or goes off into deep thought, allowing your subconscious to become more active. When your attention is needed to stop or change lanes then your conscious mind comes into play again. Driving is only one activity; you go in and out of trance many times a day. Whenever you do anything automatic, your conscious mind is diverted from your subconscious and you are more likely to go into a hypnotic state, such as the one described. Other examples of automatic states are when you are taking a shower, jogging or perhaps eating alone.
With simple hypnotic, relaxation techniques that your hypnotherapist guides you through; you can begin to visualize yourself becoming healthier, happier, more confident, lose weight, stop smoking or whatever it is that you want to do! When in that relaxed, trance state you are more receptive to suggestion.
Hypnotherapy is a professional partnership between the hypnotherapist and the client. A person cannot be hypnotized unless he or she agrees and co-operates. Stage hypnosis is very different. It is a form of entertainment and has nothing to do with hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapy is a valuable therapeutic tool for enhancing a client’s self-awareness and helps them to assume responsibility for healing themselves as well as giving them the tools and skills they need to do so.
Hypnotherapy works for most people but it isn’t just a snapping of the fingers. The client has to do some of the work too. It depends a lot on how motivated you are to change. The
Hypnotherapist will help you to do the change work in your mind and reframe old belief systems. You will also learn many new ways to deal with your issue, as well as have post hypnotic suggestions for when your old behavior surfaces. You may also have some homework and hypnosis MP3’s to take home and listen to on a nightly basis. It is a very enjoyable way to work with your issue.

See an imaginary finish line. By running to this certain landmark (a mile marker or 10 more houses, etc.) you can really motivate yourself to keep going. Then after you reach that landmark, set another goal. This will help you to break your runs into shorter segments and tricks your mind into thinking you are going to quit at the next landmark. Tell yourself just one more mile post or one more shadow in the road what ever you see in front of you that will keep you going.
Do something that you love and do it with a partner
Whether it is riding a bike or hiking up a mountain, if it is something you love, it doesn’t feel like work. Do it with a friend and it doubles the pleasure and fun of it. It will distract you when it gets painful where as without a friend there you might turn around and go home. Pretend you are training for a marathon and challenge each other. Make it fun!
Plan to meet 3 times a week or whatever your schedule permits.
Listen to music while you exercise
Put on your i-pod and your jogging outfit and away you go. Just putting on the outfit can really get you motivated. Once you have your bike shorts or hiking shoes on you are not likely to then sit down and watch T.V. Music is another motivator, listen to some upbeat music that will get you going while you put your outfit on, then once you are out the door put on your headphones and feel how much easier it is to jog or do the treadmill to songs you love. Anchor the feelings of an exhilarating workout to a particular song.
Listen to “Motivational Workout” self hypnosis MP3’s or CD’s
Make your life easy, listen to them as you are turning off the light at night and fall asleep to it. You will wake up in the morning refreshed and feel like exercising without even having to talk yourself into it.

Confidence is the #1 most important thing you have to bring with you into your next job interview.
For all of your adult life you have been able to communicate and express your inner thoughts without any problem. You are able to talk to friends, family and colleagues in a calm and confident manor and going to an interview is not really any different. You are able to articulate what you want to say in an intelligent and coherent way and you are very experienced at talking and thinking; you do it every day.
The more prepared you are for a job interview, the less anxious or nervous you’ll feel. Bring extra copies of your resume and, if appropriate, a portfolio of your work if important. Mental preparation is critical. Like it or not, job interviewers can usually tell whether or not you are an ideal candidate for the job within the first minute, so first impressions are so important. Always dress for success be on time. Be diplomatic and turn answers that could end up sounding negative into positive answers. And most important be in the right frame of mind.
As long as you remain calm and relaxed, then you can express yourself in a calm thoughtful and confident way with anybody in any situation. It’s just a state of mind, think about it. In an interview situation, you are two fellow adult human beings talking. You are both equal. The interviewer is interested in hiring your services and you are interested in offering your services. You both must meet in order to establish whether you are suitable for the job and whether the job is suitable for you. Remember you have made it this far so they must see something in you that they like. They have likely gone through many candidates and resumes and have picked you to bring in for an interview. Hundred’s of people applying for the same position probably did not even make it that far. Have confidence in your resume and be proud of it and what you have accomplished. Remember it is your accomplishments on your resume that have gotten you this interview. Keep in mind you are also interviewing them, in a way, to see if this is a job you want. Keeping this frame of mind may take the pressure of. Ask lots of questions, actually interview them. This flips the pressure around, puts them on the spot and takes it off of you. Remember interviewers get nervous too, amazing as it may seem. It will also show the person interviewing you that you are genuinely interested in the position. Have a list of 10 questions written down about the job, even if you have to pull the list out. It shows that you did your homework and are really taking this interview seriously.
You also may want to look on the internet to find commonly asked job interview questions. Before your interview have a friend interview you asking you all of these questions. Let your friend throw in some other questions that you have not prepared answers for. Practice relaxation as you tackle these questions. Breathe long deep breaths. Have your friend give you feedback on how you are doing. You may be doing better than you think. At the interview, remember you are two mature adults discussing various issues around the job and about yourselves, acting calm and confident yourself could help the interviewer to be at ease allowing you both to feel comfortable in each other’s presence. Good Luck!

“When you can’t find a job and the Economy has tanked”
Job cuts, financial crisis, $8 trillion in excess debt and fear of a double dip recession is more than enough to keep us up at night with wondering how to survive more no-growth years ahead .If you’ve lost your job and your home it’s easy to fall into depression and feel that there is no way out! Thinking negatively can drag you down and affect your health. Trying to be optimistic doesn’t mean ignoring the difficult things in your life. It just means focusing on the positive as much as possible.
Some ways to stay positive are:
· Write about a positive future. Make a list or a collage, if you want to take it to a more artistic level, of goals and dreams as if they have already come true. Imagining your future as if it has already happened is a form of manifesting. Since you are home anyway maybe waiting to hear from a potential employer or perhaps you have given up all together, how could it hurt to take some creative time to envision your dream? Imagine all the positive outcomes to your challenging situation. Allow your creativity to flow. If art or collages aren’t your thing write a story about it, make it the most positive future you can imagine. Have fun with it, don’t let that negative voice creep in and say “but that isn’t possible,” who cares, do it anyway! Once you have written your story or made your collage or list read it over and make sure you have everything on there that you want to happen, include all the details. Start each point in your list with words that imply it has already happened. An example would be: “I am so glad that when I lost that job I was free to look for new opportunities and I have the most fabulous job now that I really love.” Or “I am really happy that I’ve moved to the community I have always wanted to live in.” Have fun with it and then put it next to your bed or fold it up and put it under your pillow. Read it every morning when you wake up and every evening before you go to sleep. Watch how things begin to unfold for you in ways you never thought possible.
· Look for the positive in a negative situation. Ask yourself; how have you grown from this situation. Have you learned new skills? Do you have more time now to do some of the things you love? Maybe some writing, exercising or gardening? Maybe learning meditation to keep you centered or doing some inner exploration. Perhaps begin reading books on recreating yourself. Think about positive skills that you can put to use and maybe even start your own business. Think about what motivates you. What have you always loved to do most?
Use this down time in a productive way, keeping your thoughts positive. Is there anything that you have done that you feel proud of? Shift your negative thoughts to the positive by thinking about what you are grateful for. Write some positive affirmations and keep them in a journal or by your bed. An example would be: I am grateful for my family and friends, they are there for me. Another one might be: I am grateful that I have my health and I can walk every day.
If you get lost in self-pity it will keep you stuck and you may not even see an opportunity that is right in front of you. You may not be able to change your situation but you can change the way you respond to it. You may need time to cry, grieve your losses, feel your feelings but don’t allow it to keep you from looking at new possibilities. Having to re-create yourself is hard at any age and letting go of who you were will take time. If you feel suicidal make sure you talk to someone, a therapist, a friend. Get outside in nature if you can, take daily walks. Nature is a powerful healer whether you are just out with your camera taking pictures, walking in the woods or sitting by a stream you will find a peace that you won’t find sitting at your desk fretting or waiting for the phone to ring.
· Be careful with your thoughts. Notice what you are telling yourself. If you hear a lot of negative self talk and what if statements like; what if I never get another job or what if I lose my home and become homeless. “You” are thinking those thoughts and your subconscious is taking that all in. The subconscious is like a computer in the mind and it stores those thoughts. You will begin to realize that your anxiety comes from what you tell yourself and what you tell yourself has a great effect over your life. You can shift your thoughts and the way you “think” about things. If life isn’t going the way you want; you can work to change it through your thinking. Watch what you tell yourself. You will realize that you are making yourself anxious. You can decide more often to accept what is, to accept life as it comes. Allow yourself to give up some of what you think you need, the demands you put on yourself. Stop the “what if” thinking. What if this; what if that. It only takes you into the future or the past. Get rid of the “musts” and “shoulds” in your life. You don’t have to make yourself upset It is the way that you think about things that feeds your anxiety. Say to yourself, “I am in control of me; I don’t have to upset myself about anything. I can’t control everything in my life, so I give up the control.” Trying to control everything makes me unhappy and anxious. I am deciding to have a good day. Allow yourself to say “so what” once in awhile. Most things that we think never happen to us anyway so wouldn’t it be more productive to store positive thoughts and affirmations in the subconscious for it to work off of instead? Ask yourself when you hear negative self-talk if it is true, how realistic is it, will it matter in 2 years? By writing about it you can shift your thinking and it will make you feel better. The truth is that positive thinkers have a better time with life than negative thinkers. Positive thinking doesn’t mean expecting everything has to be perfect all the time. Positive thinking is a mindset that keeps you going even when things don’t go your way. It makes sense that you will feel better about your life and even your bad breaks; if you can put a positive spin on things instead of focusing on the most negative and disappointing aspect of every situation. Simply put, it is a healthier way to be. Studies show that positive thinkers tend to have healthier immune systems than pessimists. They live longer and have happier lives. Look at tough times as an opportunity to learn, grow or improve your situation.
· Remember time heals all things. There will be a tomorrow, a next month and a next year. Maybe by then, things will have changed for the better. Think about all the good things you’ve experienced, felt, and achieved in your life and think about how many more great things could be waiting ahead. You don’t need to stop yourself from feeling the joy. Even in tough situations, it’s important to smile and laugh here and there, to enjoy your family and friends. Let yourself enjoy life even if it’s a difficult time. It has been said, you only live once, why not make the best of it.

Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce today NBA player Kris Humphries after two months of marriage. This is her second divorce. Kim’s elaborate fairy tale wedding aired on T.V. but due to “irreconcilable differences,” the couple has decided to split.
Going through a divorce can cause great anxiety and despair. There is no doubt that the breakup of a marriage is one of the most difficult things a person can experience. It sounds like Kim and Kris are ending as friends but that doesn’t always happen. No matter who initiated the breakup, both parties are left with a mixture of difficult emotions. When you love another person, you merge your hopes and dreams with that person. It sounds like so much went into the “Fairy tale wedding” that it may just have been too much for them and when they got down to the real essence of married life the excitement just evaporated over night.
It is possible to get something positive out of the experience though. The divorce happened for a reason, and you can learn and grow from that experience. You may come out a better stronger and happier person in the end. You will naturally have regrets, but divorce does not mean that your life is over. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
When you end the relationship there is a need for cutting the ties so you can become yourself again, so you can discover who you are without that person. So you can be that great person that originally attracted them to you. Maybe you will need to do a little work to get back to that place, when you were in balance on your own
You can get back there and you can feel good about yourself again.
Self Hypnosis can be a great way to start the process of healing and getting back to yourself again.
Teen Commits Suicide after being Cyber bullied.
Bullying has always been around. Kids getting beat up on the playground, name calling, teasing, gangs and clubs have all been a way for kids to feel better about themselves.
The saying “sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me” has been around forever but names do hurt and bullying can have severe consequences like the many suicides that have been brought to the attention of the media recently. These cases have people wondering if bullying is on the rise.
Cyber bullying is new and can spread instantly to thousands of kids. There is no real way to control it, and if you are the victim of this kind of bullying you could begin to feel like the whole world is against you and find no place to turn.
Before you know it an unflattering picture of you or naming you a slut or a fag is on everyone’s cell phone or computer. At least bullies of previous decades had to hold you down before they could punch you and then usually it was only between the two of you.
Kids are embarrassed and hurt, so many times they don’t tell their parents what is going on. They hide it. Some of the ways a parent might tell if their child is being bullied is:
Schools seem to be the place where bullying is most prevalent. There is always a social hierarchy, popular kids, nerdy kids, jocks, etc. In the past few weeks, three teenage boys committed suicide after being bullied and a freshman at Rutgers University threw himself from the George Washington Bridge in New York City after his roommate had secretly recorded a video of him kissing a guy and the video went up on YouTube.
Some people have great memories of their school years and others have traumatic memories that haunt them all their life. They continue to have self-esteem issues into adulthood from things mean kids said or did to them. It seems like life is hard enough to get through but when you add bullying into the mix it sometimes makes life unbearable and kids fall into deep depressions leading eventually to suicide in some cases.
It seems to me that we need to start with elementary school and teach our kids to appreciate each other for our differences. The world would be pretty boring if everyone was the same. They should have a “Peer Appreciation Day” every week where they do something like pick a name out of a hat and that is the person you eat lunch with. After lunch you write a paragraph on what you like about that person and at the end of the day that paper is given to the person written about. It is amazing when your peers write something honest about you, that they like, how it boosts your self esteem. If this starts with young kids and is carried out all through your school years I think it could make a big difference in the way kids see each other.
Bullies should be held accountable for their actions. If they caused someone to commit suicide or someone to stop coming to school out of fear, there should be some retribution. We can’t sit back and watch this happen to our children. Someday that person that was picked on may be the person everyone wants to know, like a genius in technology or a fortune 500 CEO.
There needs to be a lot more attention put on this in the schools. I don’t think all kids really want to be mean but sometimes the peer pressure is too great from their friends and they do things they regret later. If a child’s self esteem is intact and they learn at an early age to see the good in everyone and teachers use effective teaching strategies to ingrain this in their students; I think we may have a chance.

If you are suffering from Migraines or Severe Headaches here is Migraine Home Remedy you can try.
- Feel your pain and then rate it on a scale of 0 to 10, 10 being extreme pain and 0 being none.
- Then imagine a shape and color of the pain. Imagine that you are softening the shape a little. If it has sharp points make them a little less sharp and if the color is a bright red or orange, tone it down a little to a softer pink or peach color. Maybe even some of your favorite sunset colors. Allow the shape to shrink in size. See it getting smaller and smaller. Let the power of your subconscious mind work for you. As your subconscious diminishes the size of the pain, the pain itself becomes less intense. Feel it fading, less and less, getting smaller and smaller.
- Now imagine the description of the pain that you came up with. See if you can substitute it for a feeling perhaps you can tolerate. An example is if you have what you feel is a stabbing pain maybe you can substitute that feeling for a sensation of a vibration instead.
If the pain feels like needles you might imagine them becoming dull and not so sharp. Perhaps cool and not hot. Or feel a vibrating feeling of blunt warm or cool needles. Perhaps if your pain is a burning neuralgic pain then maybe you can imagine it becoming just a slight itching or an occasional tickle
- Allow yourself to relax into the uncomfortable feeling, let yourself go to it, embrace it and let it know, that you know all you need to know about the pain, you know how it comes and generally when it will leave. There is nothing for you to do now but try to relax into it. Tell it that it can relax with you and quiet down as you quiet down. It is OK to let go and let the pain go its own way while you go yours. Allow yourself to relax right through the pain to a place beyond it of quietness and calm awareness. Go right through that feeling and out the other side, drifting into a space of relaxed letting go, as the mind becomes smoother and softer.
Another thing to try is to imagine moving that pain to perhaps a toe where it will not hurt so much. See it slowly moving gently down your leg and notice a very slight movement of that feeling going toward your little toe. You might be curious about its movement. Is it moving in a circular motion? Does it move slowly like pouring honey out of a jar? Allow your attention to focus on moving the pain. As you move it down imagine a dial in your mind and you are turning the pain down. If it was at a 10 when you first started then imagine turning it down to an 8, then a 6 and eventually down to a number that is tolerable like a 2 or 3. The number you see is the number you feel and the number you feel is the number you see. Watch the numbers and your feelings begin to change.

Each morning we wake up to our daily life. Most of our activities are on automatic pilot, such as brushing your teeth or eating breakfast. Automatic pilot is a trance state that can be very useful for what is considered the habitual activities of life & exercise needs to be one of these.
Our bodies need to exercise; it has been medically proven that we are emotionally more stable, physically healthier and mentally far more alert if we do. The ideal solution is to review your lifestyle and attitude. Look for ways you can incorporate exercise as part of your everyday life. Use the stairs instead of the elevator; walk when you can, look for opportunities and interests that involve physical exercise. The important thing is that whatever you do, it is easily adapted into your life. Take some time each day just for yourself, and exercise during this time, even if it’s just a 15 min. walk around the neighborhood.
When you start to talk yourself out of exercising, a negative affirmation is being repeated in your mind. An affirmation that says “I can’t do it, I don’t have time.” So if a negative affirmation works, why can’t a positive one? Repeating an affirmation in your mind will remind you of your desire to be healthier and help you become more consciously and subconsciously aware of your healthy lifestyle goals. Strive to repeat healthy lifestyle affirmations to yourself several times each day. Because affirmations actually reprogram your thought patterns and they change the way you think and feel about things.
Say these affirmations to yourself everyday:
“The more often I choose to exercise, the better I’ll feel, both physically and mentally.”
“I really enjoy the exercise program I have chosen for myself.”
“I have enough time in my day to do my exercise program because it is important to me.”
Endorphins are triggered by exercise; they are chemicals that are secreted by the brain. They are triggered each time you do your exercise and you feel great!

Three years later, he still refuses to fly anywhere and admits his phobia has become a big problem in his professional life.
He says, “Unfortunately I can’t do as much touring as I would like because I don’t fly. It’s an obstacle. I’m working on it though.
“I’m trying to get hypnotized, trying to talk to a doctor who retrains your brain. Maybe he’ll help me fly again one day.”

Is the 12 step program for everyone? Some say no. Many clients of mine say they don’t like hearing depressing stories every meeting and they don’t feel like they fit in. They feel like going to AA and always introducing themselves as an alcoholic makes them feel like there is no hope and they lose their optimism.
Personally I think it’s all about the individual, for some AA is definitely the way to go and I usually recommend it to people that I see for therapy to go to AA in conjunction with our therapy.
I do have those clients that do really well with hypnosis alone. They want to put their alcoholism behind them and reminding themselves for the rest of their life that they are an alcoholic doesn’t work for them. These people are motivated and don’t feel like they need to hit bottom before they start getting better. It is a matter of changing your belief system from being an alcoholic to a person who is in control; a person who is choosing a healthy body and mind! When your mind stops associating alcohol with relief from pain, you will no longer find yourself reaching for a drink to feel good or to avoid your problems.
Hypnosis helps you create the outcome that you want. It supports the positive and reinforces that into your subconscious mind. You will find when you change your core belief about yourself and alcohol, making new choices will be much easier than you thought. Hypnosis is a safe and healthy way to become free of alcohol addiction! Click here for more info.

Gambling is an addiction. Like any addiction, it can take over your life and become the main focus of your attention. Before you know it, you’ve lost control as the lure of gambling becomes more important than anything else in your life.
Think of gambling as being robbed. Each time you bet, thinking it will make you rich you are allowing yourself to be tricked. You probably feel like you are addicted to this habit and you are powerless over it, but this is not true.
Admit to yourself that you have a gambling problem first, and make the decision that you want to stop gambling.
Here are some things you can do:
1. Make a decision each morning that you will not gamble that day. Remember, you have decided to stop gambling, and each morning you need to remind yourself of this.
2. Stop carrying any money, credit cards and checks with you. Block all access to money. Decide how much you need for the day and only carry with you what you need.
3. Plan out your day, in 15 minute segments if you have to. Stick to your schedule. Make sure all your waking hours are covered with something to do
4. Look into a support group like Gamblers Anonymous. Many people like the support of a group and being around other recovering gamblers is extremely helpful to them.
5. If you gamble online get “Gamblock” you can download it for free and it will keep you from gambling.
6. Keep pictures of your family and friends around you to remind you that this is for them too, and that your gambling is letting them down.
7. Think of all of the great things you could afford with the money you waste gambling. Vacations, cars, home improvements, whatever you want you could now have the money for it.
8. Think about all the bad things that have happened due to your gambling and the negative consequences it has brought into your life.
9. Stay positive, don’t give up on yourself, know that there are thousands of people who once were addicted to gambling who are now recovering gamblers.
10. Have a plan in place for when you have an urge again. What will you do? You need to know. Carry phone numbers of friends or support people and positive affirmations with you at all times.
11. Make sure to find a sponsor or a therapist who has had an addiction and knows what it is like.
12. Focus on productive activities that you can feel good about instead of gambling.

Smokers should be prepared to be confronted with graphic labels that will soon cover almost half of the cigarette packages. Images will be showing sickness and death; which is designed to evoke disgust and revulsion. Congress passed a law requiring tobacco makers to put graphic health warnings on cigarette packages. This month, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) published nine labels, which will appear on cigarette packaging by the fall of 2012.
Americans today fully understand that smoking is unsafe but will these labels make a difference? Despite all the efforts to stop smoking, advertising, taxes, educational campaigns and smoking bans, nearly 50 million Americans continue to put themselves in harms way. The hope is that the nauseating photos on the cigarette packages will kill the urge.
I don’t know if graphic images will stop people but I do know that hypnotherapy works! Typically after 1 or 2 session of hypnosis my clients quit for good. What is interesting to me is that most smokers think it will be too hard for them to quit so they never really try. Once they have spent a couple hours with me their belief system around it being too difficult to quit seems to change and their behavior follows soon after. They find out that an urge only lasts 3 to 5 minutes and then that urge will run its course and pass. They find that quitting using hypnosis is an enjoyable way to become a non-smoker and they didn’t have to be grossed out to do it. The graphic pictures may work for a small percentage and I hope it does because dying of lung cancer is not something anyone wants to do!
It might be a good goal to stop smoking before the new packaging comes out. You can go to our website and see about a session or download a Smoking Cessation MP3.

Everyone wants and needs to feel loved. Having a significant person in your life to share things with, have fun with and lean on for support is important. If you have been unable to find this person, you may spend your life feeling alone and wondering why love has passed you by. If you feel this way, ask yourself an important question. Do your love yourself? Once you feel that you are an attractive, lovable person, you will start to act in a loving way toward others, and soon the love you are looking for will come to you.
You must also love others if you want to be loved yourself. If you are having trouble attracting love, learn to let love flow from within you instead of focusing on yourself and the attention that you might want to receive. You’ve probably heard that if you want a friend, you need to be a friend. This is also true of love. If you want to attract love, you must first love yourself. Once you are comfortable with who you are and you really like and love yourself, it will be easier for other people to be attracted to you and love you.
How can you attract the love you want and deserve? Do whatever it takes to experience yourself as lovable. The more you are okay with yourself, the more others are okay with you. Use affirmations to replace the old tapes you keep hearing from your past, things others have said that hurt you… parents, old relationships and such. Instead come from a place of “I’m ok just as I am.” What will draw people to you is their sense that you are fully expressing all of who you are. Self-confidence draws people’s interest like nothing else. Focus on what works, instead of always thinking about what could be better. Self-respect, assurance, clarity about who you really are, will attract love to you.
Find out what matters to you, hold that vision. To attract love in your life it is important to follow your own dreams and that will give you personal satisfaction, so you can feel good about yourself. You might want to listen to our Attract Love MP3.

Stacy Ferguson, better known as Fergie is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, fashion designer and actress as well as the lead singer of the Black Eyed Peas. Previously she had performed with a female trio called Wild Orchid. While performing with Wild Orchid, Ferguson developed an addiction to crystal methamphetamine which followed her after she left the group in 2001.
Ferguson felt that her addiction to drugs had a lot to do with being a child actor and having learned to suppress her feelings at an early age. When she was 17 she found fame through the Wild Orchids. But when the band tanked, she turned to Ecstasy and eventually crystal meth. She has admitted that as a teenager, she became addicted to illegal drugs in an attempt to escape her troubles. She loved Ecstasy and found her outlet in the underground club scene and raves.
Fergie has been clean for more than ten years, but is only now revealing that her pre-fame drug addiction left her paranoid and delusional. Unlike other drugs, methamphetamine’s can directly cause a permanent psychosis, the technical term for a delusion or a hallucination. The paranoid delusions of a drug user and the experience of a person with mental health issues barely differ.
Fergie said “I had about 20 different conspiracy theories. I painted the windows in my apartment black so they couldn’t see in,” she thought the FBI was after her during her brief addiction to methamphetamine’s around 2001.
She was down to 90 lbs. and was doing meth day and night and had run out of money. she said. “I was hearing voices. I thought people were after me. I wasn’t talking to any of my friends or family.” She said “It ruins you and it’s important to talk about it because it’s a very, very hard thing to stop.”
Ferguson has stated in several interviews that she enlisted the help of a hypnotherapist to help her overcome her crystal meth addiction and to relax. She is an avid user of hypnotherapy and now she admits that she only indulges in a glass of wine here and there.
Maybe you had an injury that required a prescription painkiller, or maybe a friend convinced you to try cocaine or crystal meth “just once” for fun. You may have wanted to fit in so much with your friends, that you gave in and tried it, thinking you would have the power to say no the next time. But then you tried it just once more and one more time after that and before you knew it, you were an addict .Now you’re faced with a very real problem. How do you free yourself from this addiction before it ruins your life? You know it will but you don’t know where to turn. Perhaps you have watched others lose their physical well being and perhaps even die and you are now realizing that this could happen to you! You know it is time to stop and you want to, what do you do?
Fergie had to make a decision just as you do if you are reading this and know that drugs are a problem for you. You can choose to be free from drugs and you can do it easily and comfortably through hypnosis. Hypnosis may not be the only treatment you need but it certainly will help make the process easier and by using our drug addiction hypnosis MP3 and our anxiety and Stress management MP3 or some of the other MP3 downloads on this site you can be well on your way to more self respect and a positive attitude towards life!

It doesn’t take Memorial Day to bring up grief and loss for someone who has lost a loved one. The loss of a loved one is the most difficult thing most people ever experience. It is extremely painful to be left with the void and emptiness that was once filled with a loving relationship. Memorial Day certainly brings it to the forefront and others may remember your loss on that day and perhaps give you a call, but for one who is grieving it is a process that takes on a life of its own. Healing happens gradually; it can’t be forced or hurried and there is no “normal” timetable for grieving. Everyone grieves differently, grieving is a personal and highly individual experience.
There is no right or wrong way to grieve but there are healthy ways to cope with the pain. You can get through it! Writing all your feelings in a journal, can be extremely helpful to just let it all out! Keep a journal by your bed and write at night before you go to sleep, just let your mind go and write whatever you are hearing in your head without censoring or judging. It is called stream of consciousness writing and it can be very cathartic. Write a letter to your loved one as if they will be able to receive it. Tell them about what has been going on in your life, feel their presence. Listen for their voice and imagine what they would say. Allow yourself to feel a comfort in knowing that, they are just on the other side of the veil that we cannot see, draw on your faith at this time. It’s ok to tell them everything you are feeling, as you are feeling so many mixed emotions and it is good for you to let these emotions out on paper. If you are angry at them for leaving you or angry at yourself for not doing or saying more; write it all down. Write about your loneliness and deep sadness, you can write anything you want now that perhaps you couldn’t tell them before. This is part of the healing process that will eventually help you to find peace and acceptance.
Perhaps even try your hand at poetry, remembering the wonderful things about your loved one. After my mother died I wrote quite a bit of poetry, it felt as if it were just being channeled through me. I was amazed at what I wrote!
The emotions you experience can range from anger and anxiety to sadness, emptiness, denial and fear.
You do not have to go through each stage in order to heal. You don’t need to experience them in an exact, sequential order, so don’t worry about what you “should” be feeling or which stage you’re “supposed” to be in. There will be ups and downs.
The single most important factor in healing from loss is having the support of other people. Sharing your loss makes the burden of grief easier to carry. Wherever the support comes from, accept it and do not grieve alone. Connecting to others will help you heal.
When you’re grieving, it’s more important than ever to take care of yourself. The stress of a major loss can quickly deplete your energy and emotional reserves. Looking after your physical and emotional needs will help you get through this difficult time.
You will begin to accept what has happened and know that there is a greater purpose in the world and a reason for everything. Freedom from grief comes when you accept those things in your life that you have no power to change.
Whatever your grief experience, it’s important to be patient with yourself and allow the process to unfold naturally. It may seem like this is impossible and that life will never feel good again, but this is not the case. It is possible for your loved one to live on in your heart and your memories, and you can heal from grief and begin to live life more fully again. Listening to this hypnotherapy MP3 can be extremely helpful at a time when you feel like you need support but just don’t have the energy to even get out of bed.

There are so many people now being displaced because of earthquakes, floods and now all the tornadoes! Post traumatic stress was only thought to be a phenomenon among soldiers returning from war, but it can also occur for people who have other types of traumatic experiences. The symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder include extreme anxiety that does not go away, being “jumpy” or easily startled, nightmares, flashbacks and other anxiety-related symptoms that interfere with everyday life. If you have lost everything you own, family members, friends and even the town you lived in, this is an overwhelming experience for those people who are living this reality right now. People in Joplin, Missouri are in shock and just trying to find loved ones at the moment. They are in survival mode and for some maybe the extent of the devastation hasn’t even sunk in yet. It may be years before they recover if ever. It is when things settle down that people who have lived through a devastating experience like this will need to seek help. One thing someone can do after a natural disaster, when they remember the event, feel jumpy or notice their anxiety and stress levels rising is hypnotherapy. Managing your symptoms is important because the longer you suffer with the symptoms, the worse they will get and the harder they will be to manage. Maybe you have tried treatments for anxiety like counseling or medication, but you still feel a gnawing anxiety or even outright fear much of the time.
Hypnosis can address the root cause of your symptoms by helping you to deal with the trauma you experienced at a subconscious level. You can change the perception that you are in danger all of the time and recognize that your symptoms are a result of the shock and stress of the trauma you suffered. That trauma is in the past and is no longer a threat to you. It can help you to manage the symptoms of PTSD at the subconscious level, help you feel safer in the world and teach you to access a feeling of peace and inner calm.

“A person can be hypnotized against their will.”
Most stage hypnotists are skilled at creating the illusion that they possess a magical and mysterious power over other people. There is, in fact, no such “power.” Stage hypnosis is a show and they are there to entertain, so suggesting you do silly things is what makes the show. Hypnosis is a state of consent and cooperation. The only control the hypnotist has over you is the control you allow her to have. You can come out of it anytime on your own if you want to. Public exhibitions by stage hypnotists and in the entertainment and media industries have contributed to wide misunderstanding of the true nature of hypnosis. Hypnotherapy is a professional partnership between the hypnotherapist and the client. A person cannot be hypnotized unless he or she agrees and co-operates. Stage hypnosis is very different. It is a form of entertainment and has nothing to do with hypnotherapy. A person who is hypnotized can only be persuaded to take an action that they would also be willing to do when they were in a normal state. You cannot be made to do anything against your will, or against your moral code.
“A person under hypnosis is asleep or unconscious.”
A person under hypnosis is in a very relaxed state and is both aware of their conscience mind and subconscious mind at the same time. This is probably the most common misconception about hypnosis. You never lose your full sense of awareness or fall asleep in hypnosis. You are actually in a state of more focused concentration and because of this heightened state you are in a more receptive state to receive the suggestions that are given to you. It’s most likely you will enjoy a feeling of deep calmness and relaxation.
“A person doesn’t remember anything that happens while under hypnosis.”
You will be aware of everything during hypnosis although there may be times when you sink a little deeper and have a dreamlike feeling. You will go in and out of lighter and deeper states and that is natural and expected. What you will see while in a trance state will be very visual and enjoyable. You go in and out of trance many times a day, such as driving. Whenever you do anything automatic, your conscious mind is diverted from your subconscious and you are more likely to go into a hypnotic state. Other examples of automatic states are when you are taking a shower, deeply engrossed in a project or watching a great movie, jogging or perhaps eating alone. A hypnotist helps you to enter this receptive state purposefully, and then uses the state to impress suggestions and imagery on your mind.
“A person surrenders their will once they go under hypnosis, and can be made to do things he or she does not want to do. “
First of all if you are seeing a Hypnotherapist and not a magician you are there to work on your personal issues and not on stage to do some magic for an audience. You will be in a nice quiet office just you and your therapist. Your therapist will answer any questions you have while he or she is doing their interview. The process will be explained to you and you are totally capable of making normal sane decisions while doing your hypnosis.
“Not everyone can be hypnotized.”
It is rare that I ever find a client who cannot be hypnotized. Once they ask their questions, we talk about any fears they may have and we gain rapport then it is just a matter of the person allowing themselves to enter a deep state of relaxation. Once the client understands that they are not surrendering their will to anyone else and that they are in complete control, people go into it easily and find it a very enjoyable experience!
“Who are the best subjects?”
Suggestibility – the capacity for impressions to imprint upon your subconscious mind – is open to anyone and can be learned! If someone quells their fears in the first session then they are able to relax as deeply as any other. “Studies suggest that people of above average intelligence who are capable of concentrating and who have a capacity for creativity and vivid imagination usually make the best subjects.”
“A person under hypnosis reveal his or her deepest secrets.”
You don’t lose control or reveal personal secrets under hypnosis unless you wish to do so. When in therapy, which hypnosis is, it may be important to allow yourself the vulnerability to share some of your secrets with a caring therapist so that they may be brought out into the open and worked on. There is always confidentiality between client and therapist.
“Hypnosis can be used to accurately recall everything that has happened to you”
Hypnosis can help you to recall past memories. It can be very effective in doing “Inner Child Work” This work is designed to experience the initial trauma only briefly and then the change work is done around it to make the positive changes for healing! It is very beautiful and sensitive work!
“A person can get stuck in a trance forever.”
Hypnosis is a natural state that we enter and exit all of the time. As mentioned above. No one has ever been stuck in a hypnotic trance, it is impossible. There are no known dangers with hypnosis when working with a normal patient.
“Hypnosis is contrary to religion?”
Not at all! A good therapist will work with you within your religious beliefs. You can explain your beliefs to your therapist and they will be sure to integrate what you believe in without placing any of their own beliefs on you. Hypnosis is not a surrender of the will at all. It is a creative process between 2 people; a therapist and a client, to find a way to help you in your healing process. The more you let go the more successful you will be at talking to your own subconscious mind and finding your own true answers!

As a parent you might wonder what the symptoms are for OCD in children.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder characterized by uncontrollable, unwanted thoughts and repetitive, ritualized behaviors one feels compelled to perform. They may recognize they are irrational but even so, they feel unable to resist them and break free. Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) causes the brain to get stuck on a particular thought or urge. You might wash your hands over and over not knowing if they are really clean and you are just waiting for that feeling that tells you that they are ok. You could check the stove or the door over and over to make sure that it is off or locked. You may stand in front of the stove for an hour just staring at the knobs or touching them and checking them and continually doubting yourself that they are really off. You don’t want to have these thoughts and in fact, you know that they don’t make any sense. But you can’t stop them. These obsessive thoughts are usually disturbing and distracting and then compulsions are performed in an attempt to make the obsessions go away.
Many people have mild forms of OCD but it is when it takes over your life and causes you great stress that it is considered a disorder. It can take up a great deal of your day and symptoms get worse in times of stress.
The main categories are:
A person with OCD can have one or more of these obsessions and the problem is that the relief they get from a compulsion never lasts and can come back stronger.
You may notice your child washing their hands a lot or being excessively afraid of getting dirty. They may ask you questions over and over and seem afraid that they might hurt someone by some action that they do. They might want everything extremely neat or things lined up in perfect order. They may have excessive focus on religious or moral ideas. They may count things or have lucky and unlucky numbers. They may tap or repeat certain words over and over. They may accumulate junk or continue to check on loved ones to make sure they are safe.
These are all signs that your child is suffering and may have OCD. They should not be made fun of or scolded for such behavior as it is not their fault. There is a switch in the brain that is not working properly; kind of like a “brain hiccup.” This is an anxiety disorder and the sooner you get it treated the better chance you have of it going away completely.
If you notice these behaviors in your child then it is wise to get help. There are many effective treatments for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), ranging from therapy to self-help and medication. However, the treatment for OCD with the most research supporting its effectiveness is cognitive-behavioral therapy.
There are two parts to this:
Even though these are the main treatments suggested for OCD, hypnosis can also be very effective in that it gets the person very relaxed and can help ease the feelings of fear and panic. It can help a person with OCD to reprogram their behaviors. It is a natural drug free solution to Obsessive Compulsive behavior.
The MP3 download should be listened to every night for 3 weeks for best results. Click here for more info.
It is not easy to watch your child going through these rituals. Just know that what they are doing is trying to make themselves feel safe in some way even if it doesn’t make any sense to you. To them it does! It is important to talk to them about it and get them help!
Even though relaxation is a natural state, you might be surprised how difficult this can be for people to do. We tend to get in the habit of endless thinking, worrying, stressing and planning. In today’s hectic world people don’t seem to take the time to just sit quietly for a few moments or to just breathe. Conscious breathing can make all the difference when it comes to reducing stress levels.
The “sounding breath” is created by moving the glottis (in the back of the throat) as air passes in and out. The throat passage is narrowed and the airway where the passage of air comes through creates a gentle snoring sound. The length and speed of the breath is controlled by the diaphragm. This strengthening is, partially the purpose of ujjayi as well as being tremendously relaxing and calming.
Hypnosis Relaxation MP3’s or CD’s: …… Hypnosis allows you to enter a state of deep relaxation which in itself is a very useful therapy for lowering stress.

With anxiety and depression so prevalent in our society it is hard to say which is worse.
Anxiety can create feelings of fear, worry, uneasiness and dread. The worry often is unrealistic or out of proportion for the situation. Daily life becomes a constant state of worry, fear, and dread. Eventually, the anxiety so dominates the person’s thinking that it interferes with daily functioning, including work, school, social activities, and relationships.
Depression may be described as feeling sad, blue, unhappy, miserable, or down in the dumps. Most of us feel this way at one time or another for short periods. True clinical depression is a mood disorder in which feelings of sadness, loss, anger, or frustration interfere with everyday life for a long period of time. The exact cause of depression is not known. Many researchers believe it is caused by chemical imbalances in the brain, which may be hereditary or caused by events in a person’s life. Some types of depression seem to run in families, but depression can also occur in people who have no family history of the illness. Stressful life changes or events can trigger depression in some people. Usually, a combination of factors is involved.
If you had to choose one I suppose it would be very difficult to decide which one to have. A good deal of the time they are interconnected and a person may have a little of both.
I guess I would say it is about equal, both cause a great deal of pain. The question is how can we be free of both of these feelings and move on to a feeling of freedom and joy? To become free we have to start from within. We have to go to a place of stillness. I think we tend to forget that we have that within us when the entire world is spinning around us so fast. There is so much to get caught up in. We are bombarded with TV, internet, social media and more! How many people really spend a little time each day just sitting, whether it be meditating, listening to relaxation MP3’s or just contemplating but sitting and being quiet?
We are often so busy we feel there is no time to stop and meditate! But meditation actually gives you more time by making your mind calmer and more focused. A simple ten or fifteen minute breathing meditation can help you to overcome your stress and find some inner peace and balance.
Meditation can also help you to understand your own mind. We can learn how to transform our mind from negative to positive, from disturbed to peaceful, from unhappy to happy.
“The power for happiness, for good, for everything we need of life is within each one of us. The power is there- unlimited power.” Robert Collier
If you are li
ke most people in our society today, you will find anxiety plays a large part in your daily life. Our lives move too quick too much stress, too complicated and too many balls to balance in the air at one time. It seems when I ask people how they are, I hear “exhausted” “depressed” a lot of times. I suppose it makes us want to go back to the days when life was easier, but when would that be because as human beings we have always had to endure the difficulties and stresses of life. Sure some times have definitely been better than others, but the bad news is we can’t go back. So what is to be done?
After living through the recession over the past several years and experiencing it more than I wanted, I have tried to stay up to date with what is going on in the world. I find now that during this last weeks news over the situation in Japan and the Middle East my stress levels at very high. People can only take so much before they need to retreat into themselves and find solace there.
But then you might say when fear and negative self talk are circling around in you brain how can you stop it? Good question! But I found an answer for me these last few days that seems to work miracles. Since what I have on hand of course are my own MP3 downloads I started listening to my new “Deep Relaxation” (recorded by Asheida) when I’m feeling extra tense and stressed. Just to recover from watching the ongoing news of horrific sadness, disaster and fear!
I am watching less news right now and doing even more relaxation. I have to say even though it is my own product ……………………IT IS FABULOUS!!! It’s just 35 minutes out of my day, and a great solution for when I start to go crazy with everything going on. Of course the other choice is to send my husband and the TV out on the back porch, lock the door and just play soft music, light some candles and forget that anything is going on! Yes these are options but in all seriousness “Deep Relaxation” does just what I want it to; it calms me down, relaxes my body and then my mind and takes me to the beach where I really would like to be! The ocean waves and sounds of seagulls intertwined with incredibly relaxing soft music and Asheida’s Voice which is like an angel guiding me through the visuals makes me feel as if I am really there. I think it must be time for me to listen again. I hope you do it too. We will get through these hard times! This too shall pass! In the meantime you can go to this link and download it for free! I hope many people will try this it is so helpful in getting through these times! You will thank me!
